Brenspeeds family vehicle (Saleen Mountaineer)

If you have a big family, don't like to take more than two in your mustang, or like to spank Z28's, Firebirds, and Vettes while driving your SUV, this vehicle is for you. We have done several of these conversions on Sport Tracks, Explorers, and Mountaineers.

Our 500 hp equiped Saleen Mountaineer is a street monster and loves to eat unsuspecting Chevys. It runs mid 13's and does a mean burnout when the front drive shaft is removed.

In addition to the increased power, MPG increased after the install. Its always a crowd favorite at the track after the first pass. Up next for this monster is a BAP and you guessed it, more power.

We also won the burnout contest with it last year in Bowling Green, KY.

It suprises a lot of people. It will spank a Trailblazer ss and the SRT8. Which is what we intended to do.
Last year in Joliet, IL I beat a C5 vette, a modded fox, and a stock 06 Mustang GT. It is a blast to drive, and 13.3's never felt so fast.

What are the requirements for the SUV? 4.6 I'm assuming? How much does the kit run?

More power and better mileage? Can't beat that - unless you can get even more power and match the previous mileage (sans supercharger).

It would have to be a 2008 Mountaineer/Explorer/Sport Track with the 3 valve 4.6L. It is an $8,000 kit, done in house, which includes the blower, all parts to convert your engine bay to a mustang, the labor, and the tuning. It is not a mail order kit but it is turn key from our facility. Our Mountaineer converson has about paid for itself with the increased MPGs.

Never thought of that, we should try that, plus we haul customers in it so maybe another write-off.
