Did you mean bucket seats? Then you would be complete opposites?

I hate to buck the trend here, but the new f150 and the new raptor, and the new mustang for that matter, have become a little busy for me. I still drool when i see the new ones, but they've gone in a direction i'm not sold on. The HUGE ford letters reminds of the tacky RAM tailgate-YUK.

[?] Details of the 10-speed transmission

Are there any information regarding the technical details of the 10-speed automatic transmission known already?

I am especially interested in the ratios of the transmission.

A 10-speed automatic sounds good! Improves fuel economy and performance.

Benchmark technology in this area from FORD.... wow what a surprise!

Yeah, I hear that bro. I would order one already. I love that blue color.
I was thinking of getting a 2015 Jeep SRT, but there are some "issues' that Jeep has to work out first for me to drop that kind of dollars on a daily driver. Too bad, it's a killer machine, but it's got it's quirks.

Talking

I will wait for the V8 powered Raptor. I am sure Ford is aware of the big drop in the price of a barrel of oil. Fuel economy is passé. Raptors need V8 engines.

^^I totally agree. I would want a V8 as well.
But,....is Ford going to put the V8 back in the Raptor and when?

I doubt it, possibly if they get enough backlash over not having one, but even then I'd say its improbable. I think they've pretty much hitched their wagon to the Ecoboost stuff at this point.

Yeah,.....exactly what I was thinking.
I've read some info on the Raptor forum earlier this month. Just wanted to know where the poster heard that the V8 was coming back. I don't think it is, unfortunately, just like we agree.

Still no additional information about the ratio of the new transmission availible?

What about the 9-speed Automatic for FWD applications, are there already some specs unveiled?
