2015 Ford Expedition: This Is It

It's Ecoboost or nothing for the 2015 Ford Expedition, which gets MyFord Touch for the first time and a fancy Platinum edition to go with the fact it loses V8 power in favor of the 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6.

It's a sort of refreshing look. It's better than the current model. Still feels about 30 years old though. My parents had a 2003 and I remember it looking pretty much the same.

Hopefully the next few years will bring a new one on the new F150 chassis.

Much better then the current one, but I agree that it still looks dated. This truck should of come out back in 2010-2011.

Doesn't the Tahoe dominate this segment? They're going to need to do something serious for the redesign.

Like the Navi, this is a nice mild refresh to hold them over til the full redesign. I'm surprised they didn't offer the 5.0 as an option in the truck as well.

I really like it, it certainly brings the Expedition somewhat up to date with the rest of the Ford lineup, but I think Ford is just conceding defeat to Chevy and Cadillac with the redesign. I just hope the Full Redesign happens within the next couple of years because it already looks somewhat old and dated.

It's funny how the article says "it loses V8 power"

I had an 07 and now a 2011 Navi. You can measure 0-60 with a sundial on the old 300hp 5.4L.

I'm not sure it ever had V8 'power' to begin with by today's standards. Fully loaded with 8 people you'd be faster in a Le Car.
