My guess is that the 2015 chassis architecture may well underlie a much broader range of V8 RWD vehicles across Ford's global operations than the current Stang's bespoke chassis which underlies, well, the Mustang. That could be a VERY good thing in a number of ways:
- Greater amortization of engineering, development and tooling costs = lower cost vehicles.
- Greater economies of scale allowing better features at the same price = the Mustang would be less of an relatively expensive "limited production" vehicle.
- Greater justification for more development and engineering = easier to make a case for more engineering development investments if the benefits are realized across a range of vehicles rather than just a niche vehicle.
- Greater chance we might actually see a "2012 FPV Falcon 'Boss 335 GT'" or its equivalent stateside if it share much of the same tested and certified elements as the Stang.

I've been curious how they've used a blown 5.0 and still only came up with a rating of 450 hp, when a N/A 5.0 here is rated at 420.

I highly suspect that it's highly underrated. You'd almost have to disconnect the blower belt drive to get a 5.0 NOT to make well over 400hp.
