Looks good, but it seems a lot bigger than previous Foci. It's hard to judge it's scale, but the sedan seems to be as big as the current Fusion . But I guess that doesn't matter since the Fiesta is coming to fill the subcompact slot.

Wow, way better than the current, ancient U.S. Focus, not that THAT would be a particularly notable achievement. I think the overall styling is great, very modern, sophisticated and well detailed -- evidence that a smaller car need not necessarily be a penalty box to merely be endured. I have some minor quibbles with the grill: trapezoids are a touch too large and overdone -- and the lower rear valence: a bit bulged out and amorphous though not nearly as bad as the Mustang's or Taurus's. Overall though, a massive step forward and will likely be another huge hit in the Ford lineup.

Can't wait for an SVT class version (whatever they end up calling it) with an Ecoboost motor, DCT, uprated running gear and tasteful stylistic mods. Maybe even through in AWD though the current Euro RS Focus shows what can be done with even a 300hp FWD.

No 2 Door or 3 Door Hatch....No Sale for Me!!!! Sorry Ford, You're Dropping the Ball I don't care how much better the new car is! Some of us DO NOT LIKE 4 DOOR CARS! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't like having the B-Pillar up against my shoulder and right in my left field of vision. Being a disabled person I know plenty of people that are disabled that choose 2 door cars for their ease of entrance and exit as well. I Guess I'll Be Shopping Elsewhere....

3-door may be specific to SVT or RS version . . . . .

Europe is getting a 3-door and (eventually) a Convertible hardtop coupe, either or both may come here. It hasn't been decided yet.

Hey, Been kinda busy. I've checked in every now and then but haven't been online much. After my initial disappointment about the 2 Door and 3 Door Hatch's Exclusion, I must admit the level of quality and design on this car is FANTASTIC! A Quantum Leap ahead of the current car or several others in it's class. I only wish they would have the 2 Door and 3 Door available at initial Model Launch, because I'm Hoping to be buying a New Car within the next Year, and I'd Love to Remain Loyal to Ford, Although Hyundai, (Genesis 2.0T) and Kia, (Forte Koupe 2.4) have been among my shopping list because of their warranty's. Insurance is also a factor. The Kia would run me $40 more every 6 months and the Hyundai $80/6mo, over my current 97 T-Bird. Whereas a Focus 2 Door SES would run me $180 more every 6 months, which is a pretty good chunk of change when I'm considering these cars for better fuel economy. Anyway....

One cool thing I picked out is how they hid the fuel door on the 5 Door Hatch, Nice Touch....Can You Catch It?

I didn't even notice that! That's kinda cool. Now find the exhaust! lol

And tampa, would an '11 305hp V6 Mustang fit the bill for the price range you're looking for

I also noticed 2 different Mirror/Side Indicator Light types on the red 5 door. I'm assuming the larger one on the top pic is Euro Spec, and the slimmer one on the lower pic is US spec. I'm also happy to see that there is no 3 Bar Grill slapped on the front of it....Yet......

Oh believe me, that thought has definitely crossed my mind, but with the options I would want on the Stang it drives it way outta my price range. I just don't like the plain jane interior of the base car. I'd at least have to have the interior upgrade package.

How long can you wait? You know the rebates are bound to come...plus someone on this board can get you X-plan....

Dang I forgot about that. It is a shame they don't off a 3 door on the focus or the fiesta. Thats the only thing thats ever stopped me from liking the Mazdaspeed3 as well...
