2011 F150 Ecoboost Torture Test Videos
I don't know how many have seen this, or are following the progress of the video sets, but Ford has posted a series of "torture-test" videos of the new Ecoboost engine in an F150.

So far they took a random engine off the line. Then ran a full durability cycle on the dyno (equivalent to 10 years / 150k miles of use). After that the engine was installed in a truck that has been driving all over the country for other competitions/showcasings. Take a look at the videos posted up so far. I am most impressed with the 24-hours at Miami Speedway segment.
It seems that Ford is really setting up for a good demonstration of the durability and capability of this new engine. This should also help put to rest some of the worries truck customers may have about using a TTV6 instead of their tried and true V8.
I am hoping to see a Discovery Channel documentary or equivalent sometime in the near future. I'm sure there is a lot more video on file than what is shown in these short clips.
