Needs to be more Astony
interesting, yeah explorere cuv does suck. thats why they have the escape for that...
Explorer is supposed to be a truck!!!
looks like it could be built on the mazda cx7 platform... but i could be complelty off on that.

Explorer should remain SUV. Even with crappy sales Explorer still outsells both Flex and Taurus X. Ford does not need another crossover.
I really liked Explorer America concept, I would like to see it in production.

This is a Mule, odds are the final product will not look much if at all like this. Mules use an existing car's body to cover/disguise the platform and running gear while they're being tested in the real world.
This is what chevy's Volt Mule looked like:
And Here's the Flex Mule:

Oh, and Zoran, the Explorer America above? It was made on a unibody platform, not a B-O-F platform. The concept IS a crossover, to be specific, but doesn't look like one.

And that is what its gonna look like, for the most part. At least, thats what Ford said. The sliding door won't be there, but the overall look is what they are striving for.

the explorer shouldnt be a car, really the vehicle that started the SUV craze
especially not if it's just a restyled freestyle
