Overall nice, but the front and rear fascias look a little too "busy" for their own good. What's up with that huge piece of black plastic around the driving lights?

I like the current Mazda3's, and I think I like the new ones even better. Especially since the optional (not the turbo) 4 cyl engine is even bigger with more power. Hopefully they can get the fuel mileage up as little bit, as that is one of the things keeping me from trading in my Mini on one.

Funny, I think that is the image they are trying to envoke. The new Mazda 6 took styling cues from the RX-8 and the 3 is using the same cues to make a unified design between the two cars.
