An improvement -- it really had no other direction to go, styling wise -- but no work of design art by any stretch of the imagination. Basically, it is a rolling argument for getting the Euro Focus and Fiesta over to this side of the pond ASAP.

i think its nice. i also like losing the CHROME front and going more subtle. Like i was saying would be a great DD for me, I'll td one when they hit showrooms. then I'll be waiting for the new fiesta (which i have a sneaking suspicion might not be named fiesta in the states)

If ever there was a case for putting lipstick on a pig!
This gives me much to worry about the 2010 Stang, hopefully the Focus designers had zero input into the Mustang!

That "pig" had an 80% increase in retail sales last month and is selling better now than it has since 2000 when the Focus debuted. "Enthusiasts" (all the "cool" kids on the internet who wouldn't buy a Ford if it was free anyway) say its all wrong, but real buyers are voting with their wallets. This "pig" is Ford's biggest selling car. It's one of the "Fords that is saving Ford" right now, now that truck sales are going down hill.
Its good to see they are keeping it fresh. I liked the previous deck spoiler better than the new roof spoiler though.

Ford should offer 2.3L hybrid from Escape in Focus. 34 mpg in Focus with the price under $20,000 ... I would definitely buy it.

I meant 34 mpg city. Focus with 2.0L can get "only" 24 mpg.
I wouldn't complain if hybrid Focus could get same gas mileage as Prius and Civic hybrid.

I just don't like the car at all. The Euro Focus, yes. The SVT model from a few years back, yes. This thing...umm..nope. Styling just isn't working for me.
I'm glad though that we're finding good sales with it.

So you're one of "those"...
I happen to be a focus owner, and I also have a Mustang, lots of ugly cars sell good, doesn't mean there's anything desirable about them, the Camry, for example..
You can stick your childish comments where the sun don't shine..

Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean other people won't like it. Obviously a lot of other people do like it for it to be Ford's best selling car right now. So take that and "stick it" where ever you'll enjoy it!

These things are selling because they are cheaper than the competition, offer Sync, and have arrived at a time when gas prices are going stratospheric. Meanwhile, I don't care how well it's selling (for the moment), that is one butt ugly car.
Can't wait for the Euro Focus to arrive.
