2007 Navigator Press kit
I don't like it at all, that front end is just ugly. I prefer the 07 Escalade over this, especially if they continue to be around the same price range. In their website while looking at pics of the navi, on the bottom left corner it says "appearance of vehicle subject to change," hopefully they get back on the board and redesign everything, if they don't they have lost a loyal Navigator customer. I don't think this look will ever grow on me.

On the other hand I am so bloody tired of this market for these gian SUV's
It angers me everytime i see some giant suv and some little yuppie girl driving it as if she needs to haul around 500 tons of crap.

Agreed.
Although conversely, as an Escape owner, I hate it when people rip on me for being an SUV owner… as if I was toting my daughter off to daycare every morning in the back of an Excursion or something. I guess to some people, an SUV is an SUV is an SUV no matter what the size.
I mean, the thing takes up less garage space than my wife's Stratus, for christ's sake!

I get just the opposite reaction regarding my Escape. Everyone wants to know why I bought that "little SUV".

Yeah, I've heard that a few times too.
But it doesn't bother me quite as much, because by the time they've made their little comment, loaded their Target sack into the cargo hold of their Suburban, climbed in and attempted to back out of their parking space three or four times, I'm already halfway home.

Or when they go the the same distance on a tank as I do but use twice the fuel.

That piece of chrome above the grill I could do without. Other than that it seems Lincoln is following a design pattern. Except for the grill which I'm not 100% sure about I like the front. Heck, for about $200 you could put a billet grill in.

Here are two of the closer-up pics from the Chicago Auto Show:

Under more realistic lighting conditions, that grille is busy, busy, busy.

Magic Johnson makes the truck look a bit smaller.
I really like the tail lights. Everybody's going with common grills to tie their car line ups together. But you don't see that happening much with tail lights. I think this is cool.

I just saw it at the Chicago Auto Show, and I must say, it looks better in person.
Edit: The pictures didn't work, I will have to go on campus, they have faster internet than I have at my apartment. I will put them up tomorrow.
