Are we the black sheep now?

I was at a gas station filling up when a S197 GT pulled in behind me. I acknowledged his ride and mentioned I did some decent work to mine and praised me for sticking with an "unwanted model year". It kinda left a sour taste in my mouth. Unwanted model year? I mean, I understand the popularity of the Fox bodies and the S197, but since when has the SN95 fallen to unwanted status?

There are Idiots everywhere

I hope he meets up with one of those "unwanted" 2003 Cobras on the track.

Here in California I get ALOT more compliments on my SN95 Bullitt versus my S197 GT.

I bet he was. Dealing with some repressed emotions I would imagine.

Mod for mod appearance wise I think the SN looks better than the 197.

Only unwanted Mustangs are II's

And now I wait for the arin

I'm starting to feel like we are, especially those of us with 2vs. plenty of folks will give the nod to an SE like my bullitt, but most people just don't appreciate the SN95s anymore. I'll be hanging out with a bunch of alleged car guys and i'll be the only one turning to oggle the the 99 GT that just drove by with its gloriously loud spintechs

whatever though, i'm used to people not giving a rats *** about my car. Just remember our cars are lighter than the new S197s and we can still make plenty of power. My bullitts one of the most fun to drive cars ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of the SN95. It just didn't inspire me like a classic shark nose does. But I'd never dis a Mustang brother!

That was a rude remark. Don't worry about it.

Dear god, how can you even live with that thing? The unwantedness must be killing every little facet of your life, I feel for you. I'm even prepared to offer you.....

Instant removal of that "thing" from your posession.

lol^

I get along great with the SN95 guys on the road with my S197. I almost bought a silver SN95 Saleen instead of my 07.

your car must have better looking mods and he was jealous. I'll be first to admit Ive seen nicer looking mustangs than mine from about every year, wether a 69 or a II, properly done up they can all look really good...

theres a couple awesome looking cobras in the area, and while I'm a fan of the 05s, cant aviod a doubletake when one rolls by

how rude...

the mustang show i went to this past summer had a ton of 95-04 stangs...and lots of people admiring them.

so black sheep will stay firmly with the II's forever (which i personally...body style...kinda like)

btw: your mustangs is a real headturner...vn!
