while we were at the beach last week i got a shot of the police mach I that they use... pretty sweet.

while on the island for 8 days we saw probably over 30 different s197 convertible 4.0's and only 3 different GT's

no doubt the verts were rentals.

Mach 1's are popular with HPD officers - there are several more currently in service. I've spotted Honolulu Police Department Mach 1's in every factory color except yellow. There's even "regulars" who park near the district court and make a nice little line on some days. : ) Too bad S197's were not approved for service - a lot of officers wanted to use them (same goes for the Terminators).
