vht tail light mod

After I smoked the tail lights followed instructions to a t wet sand the rubbing compound now some cheap polish they just don't seem super glossy like others I've seen. Is there a miracle common polish I can find locally instead of online then wait a week? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I used some 2000 grit then Meguiar's Ultimate Compound followed by Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and a coat of Meguiar's Gold Class wax. See a common theme there?
