Anyone know of a three-game's plate for the CD player on the 99 GT?

I want to replace my CD player with three gauges is this worth doing or is there something I don't know about that can prevent me from doing this anyone know?

It's a 99 GT.

You might try here: http://www.speedofsoundllc.com/index.html

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. If you need some gauges, go for it.

If you get an aftermarket cd player, you can loose the lower section of your factory radio. Then you could fill that hole with gauges. I think it would look good if you take the time to do it right.

I think it would look best in the lower section then have them popped out a little and angled towards the drive side.

Hell, for the price of a hunk of say 1/8" ABS plastic. You should be able to do up something quite nice. I've even used aluminum for stuff like that. HTH

My 99 gt had a cd player in the top portion and the bottom portion had a tray in it so you could put a phone or something there.

When I had one in my 99 I had the same thing. The tray is easy enough to take out and replace with gauges and some sort of faceplate.

Found a black powder coated stainless at lmr.

Sucks that it's black powder coat. They don't even offer plain stainless.

Dats just sheer ignorance.

Will you be replacing the factory radio?

Not sure about that.

Hey I just had an idea can I move the radio to the lower slot and put my gauges where the radio is now?

They are the same size. I ran my deck in the lower one for a while in my 94.

That plate looks pretty shnazzy by the way. I wish I had a reason to put gauges in my car. lol
