Some genius opened thier door and hit the side of my car by the door handle and put a good dent there, it's nice and round and I was just wondering if anybody had ever had a dent removed before and how much it costed, or if it really even made it look better enough to be worth bothering with it. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

If the paint's not broken, the best bet is Dent Wizard, or any place that does paintless dent repair. Call local bodyshops, or look up a PDR company online. This way your factory paint and e-coat remain in tact.

Good luck.

Someone just did that to my car as well. I'm going to be making some calls tomorrow about PDR, I'll let you know what kind of prices I get, at least in the Philadelphia area.

Thanks for the replies guys, I just got home from having it looked at and the guy said that it would be about $125 for PDR, and $350 if they have to paint the door. I really want to avoid painting the door, because I have black side tape stripes and I don't know what to do about getting the same ones put on since I've never done anything like that before.

It's good that you have the side stripes, because the paint area will only be from the above the top stripe. also, given the simplicity of your color, match shouldnt be an issue either. i dont blame you for wanting to avoid getting a paint job, if only for the money alone, but if it's necessary, the stripes should not be an issue.

I had paintless dent removal done on my F-150 due to a "factory installed" dent in the middle of the passenger door and I am completely satisfied with the results.

I had one removed by Dent Wizard in Raleigh NC on each side of the trunk on top of the quarter panels. I have no idea how the dents got there, But $190 later ( $95 ea ) you can't even tell there was ever a problem.

Paul, Call Rice & Holman Ford in Mt. Laurel NJ. I drove my car over there the day their PDR guy was on his 'scheduled' stop to do all the trade-ins. It was like $70 4 years ago. The best...

By the way, did I mention Grabber range is the hot new color for '07?

Just picked her up this morning, only took a little over and hour and the guy gave me a break on the price cuz he knows my parents. It looks like new, can't tell anything ever happened to it. I should have gotten before and after pics Thanks for the advice guys!I recommend it if you have any annoying dents.
