So i really am interested in the roush side exhaust for my 2004 mustang gt. Of course that would include the roush stage 3 body kit

Are there any downfalls to getting this exhaust kit? Sound to loud or smog or heat or something?

I have heard things like it is so loud you can not talk in the car and stuff, or there is so much smog it is terrible. And such things. I need to know as i am going to order a kit and i need to know if i should order this or like a magnaflow kit?


p.s. does anyone know of a sound clip for the enhanced sound roush side exhaust?

 

i dont have the roush kit. but i do have side exhaust on my 98 cobra. have longtubes, offroad x-pipe it is definitely loud and you can smell the exhaust a little if stuck at a light for a long time. but i also dont have any converters. but it isnt so loud i cant carry on a conversation, unless i am really beating on the car. normal accelleration and cruising arent bad

 

i have a roush convertion kit, i just put it on last year. it fit perfect the first time. the side exhaught doesnt produce smog or anything like that. the kit though is not loud at all. if u have flow master on it right now it will be quieter. i took out 4 resinaters and the car is very loud. i think u should get the flow master mufflers a much better sound if u ask me. also i have strait back pipes they never touch the best way to have it

 

so you have the roush body kit but the flowmaster side exhaust?

 

im getting that very soon i have the magnaflows, it sounds nice but its alot quieter. if u want loud go with the flowmasters better sound loud too.
