Shaker hood scoop

Ok ive been lookin at this scoop for a lil bit ever since i saw a couple other regular gt's that had it. For thise that have a mach 1 or just have it installed what are your thoughts on the scoop? Really curious

it doesnt help with anything, it's a different form of air intake.

basically, because it's mounted to the engine, when you rev the motor and it tries to rotate, you'll see the scoop on the shaker move as well, hence the shaker name.
