Service Engine Soon

This morning on my way to work a "Service Engine Soon" light came on on my Mustang.
Does that mean that a tuneup needs to be done or is it something else?

2000 Mustang V6 5-speed, 63,000 miles.

That's the same thing as a check engine light. Run the codes buddy.

Run the codes. I can probably guide you through the repair. Autozone reads codes for free.

whats the code? Could be one thing or than one. Depends on the code and if more than one code, than the order the codes. Pull OBDII codes all day long.

Gas cap, vapor canister, purge valve solenoid, hoses to vapor canister could be loose, off, cracked.

You probably just have a vacuum problem because of the leak. Should be too $$ to repare, just a hassle to actually locate the leak. But nothing a couple dollars worth of tube couldnt fix.
