SCT/Bama device update software fail

Well Bama doesn't open till 9, so i wanted to see if anyone had suggestions before i call. Just got emailed tunes, installed the SCT device update software and...noting wont recognize my tuner. I have the X4, which the program doesn't show as a available device, but this is the program i was told to install to load the new tunes. Also i cant seem to find/install the correct drivers from anywhere. if anyone has any ideas to get this working,or maybe where to get the X4 driver i would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

We can definitely look into this for you! It sounds like the device may be having some issues. Give the Bama team a call and they'll gladly help you out!

I did the update on my 05 GT Thur. Oct. the 1st. the update failed,I tried it about nine or ten times and it would get to different spots and and stop. I got in touch with SCT tech. and they took over my computer and tried and they couldn't get it to work.I was told to mail it in and it would be repaired for $65. because the tuner was out of warranty.I told the tech. this scanner was only used twice once to load one of the tunes and once to check about a miss above 5700 RPM,other than that it has been in the original package in my house. He said he was sorry but it is out of warranty and the prob was not with the update but with the scanner itself.I think the shelf life on these things ....SUCK......
