You sure you want it? I have zip-ties holding it on on one side I would be fixing it, but the cheapest quote I got matched prices on a decently priced used one

Are just the tabs broken? Can you send me some pics of it? I used to work at Sound Innovations in Hayward. They/we are pretty handy at repairing plastic stuff. If it's not too bad, I'll take it if you want to get rid of it cheap. Only thing is, I can't drive right now....

You'll love it, and wonder why it took you so long to do it. Does take a little time to get used to the new brake feel however. (ie. it stops and it stops quick.)

To be completely honest I don't think that the Bullitt brakes on my car did as much as I was expecting. It could very possibly be the fact that I couldn't really get on them for a couple days after I had them on because there was a knocking sound that I could not figure out... After a few days it just disappeared though, and maybe I was just already used to them.

Regardless, the swap is so easy it could be done with your eyes closed. I thought bleeding brakes was supposed to be scary, which was my main concern, but it turned out to be the easiest part of the process. When I did it, it took about an hour to do both sides. I didn't do rears though... I hate, with a passion, our rear brakes...

Yeah the Bullitt brakes look nice, and are definitely an improvement, but not OMG! improvement.

I wanted to add the rear bigger rotors, but you have to pull the axles to do so. And I wasn't about to do that unless I was going to do gears and an LSD.

Any word on that Cobra bumper cover??

ok, so the parts guy at work is a moron. I ask for Bullitt front rotors and he gives me GT ones

even worse is that Cobra/Mach 1/Bullitt 13" rotors aren't available through Motorcraft and are an OEM item. That means uber expensive. Thank god for Autozone though

swap will be down tomorrow

I know that when I bought my Bullitt brakes from buyfordracing.com the rotors were packaged from Brembo.

Removing the axles is not a big deal at all. If you are to do it, I would suggest replacing the axle seals and bearings though, since it would be apart anyway. Just remember to remove the ABS sensor before you try to get the C-clips out... Ask me how I know...

Tire Rack used to carry the Brembo replacement rotors and now they don't. I just picked up some decently priced Raybesto's from Autozone.

I played around with the idea of getting rid of the GT for a 2011 5.0 over the weekend but decided against it. After a tune, my car will be just as fast if not faster than the 5.0, the **** thing is paid off and I can build a 302 stroker for it after I purchase a daily driver. I'm thinking a Fusion or an Escape for a daily. The Escape has a decent size cargo area so that's kinda appealing.

Hmm haha idk now. Wish I had seen this sooner. I have a set of 1-year old 13" OEM Brembo rotors. I had the Mach 1 brakes first, then swapped to the Bullitts after a year. Got a full set of RotorPro slotted rotors when they had them on sale here...

The Fusion is nice, I'm thinking EcoBoost Fiesta myself. I've driven the standard (Euro-spec though) model and it was pretty peppy for a little car! Felt a lot more solid than my mom's 03 ZX5 Focus.

If you just want to get some garage space back, I'd take it to see if I could salvage pieces to fit on my bumper... And by "I" I of course mean "we" which of course means "Arin." I love the look of that bumper, and if you can't use it, and I can't use it at least you wouldn't have to pay the dump to take it.

Bullitt brakes are finally on, but not without drama. The caliper bracket on one side was contacting the rotor so I had to grind some of it off. Plus the rotors that Autozone sold me were warped, so those had to be turned. However, they are on and feel as good as they look

Bracket contacting the rotor? Are your hub bearings ok? I've seen that happen when they are very worn.
