rear end creaking

I've been noticing lately in my 01 bullitt when I pull in somewhere like to a parking spot or the garage the rear of the car creaks like a door in a horror movie. I'm thinking bushings. Any other opinions

75k what do you mean the parking brake? It kind of sounds like when your cv joints are out and they pop but in the back

It could be haunted I didn't think of that

Do you hear a ding with it? When u-joints go out you'll often hear them 'ring the bell' - a ding from the hollow drive shaft. I've also heard a bit of a crunching sound when the needle bearings are getting chewed up. I always heard them more often when I was backing up just as I was engaging the clutch.
