Update:

- still haven't made it to the track yet to confirm that 12.9. The rear street tires are shot so some drag radials will be in order here soon.

she spent some time on my rack at work this past friday. The day before, the temp was shooting up quickly and nearly overheating while the fan was on and the heater blowing cold. I checked for head gaskets but that test turned up negative. Pressure tested the system revealed no leaks. I swapped in a spare t-stat I had and boom, problem fixed.

Other than that, nothing to new to report on my pumpkin car

Not looking to bash or anything. But isn't modded under drive pullies something to stay away from on the 03/04 mach 1? Something about it doing very little, and it could cause more issues down the road?

Nice grab though! Should be able to do better than a 12.9 with those mods, looking forward to seeing what she can do at the track.

Congrats on picking up another Mach 1!

to be honest, I've always strayed away from the pullies. The only reason they're on this Mach is because the previous owner put them on there. They're coming off though because I hate the piggyback design these BBK ones are.

update: the wife ditched her Aviator and got a new ride

welp, the Mach is screwed. On V-day, I was right next to an accident on my way to work. My car wasn't hit but I stayed around to call 911 and make sure it was cool I left. Once I got to work, I noticed the vehicle from the initial impact sprayed brake fluid all over the Mach. Unfortunately, it was too late and the damage was done to the paint. I filed a report later on and reported it to my insurance and now comes the waiting game.

**** man! That blows. Hopefully they'll fix it right! If they say they will only reprint a couple panels, insist they so the whole car because after a year or two, they will not match.

Wow. That is some sh*tty luck. They'll repaint the car. Do not settle until it's done.

They have to repaint the car, the fluid made it all the way over to the drivers side as well. The passenger side took the majority of the fluid and has the worse damage

Guess you can call it impatience but the fact that the police have yet to release the report is not a good sign to me. We're paying our deductible and getting the car done next week. We'll let USAA handle getting the money back

Just saw this thread. Two of my favorite cars, '04 Mach1 and Focus ST. Hope your Stang gets painted to original form. How does the missus like the ST? I've been lusting for one.
