Took it for a 50 mile drive through the twisties, and oh my god does it grip. The only thing I need now is power.

Also, the exhaust was hanging on the passenger side a little bit, and I was wondering why... Undid the bolts to the mid pipe, jacked it up, and tightened up the bolts. Perfect. Not the prettiest looking pipes since they are just stockers that spent their life in a storage container, but still looks pretty sick to have it coming from under the dif.

The pipe is dented, and the tip is trashed. I'm looking into buying another set of pipes, but it really isn't worth it to me unless I get something drop dead gorgeous like Chris' new pipes.

What else would be good maintenance to get done at 120K miles? So far I've replaced the clutch (spec stage 1) changed the plugs, replaced the fuel filter, and cleaned the throttle body blade. What's next?

Trans fluid, yes. The rear end only has 15k on it, so I have not.
Every time I look into this thread it makes me miss my BAB mustang. Love what your doing with yours.
Awesome to see a BAB with an IRS under it. Always wanted to install one in mine. The opportunity just never presented itself.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I always loved the color, and yours always made me a little jealous while I had the 94.
I wanted to do the IRS with the 94, but the brake lines scared me away. With the 99-04, all you need to have is time and will power. I love that mine is different than 99% of GTs. I really just need some power now, and it would be perfect. I was hoping for a supercharger next summer, but I'm thinking it's about time for me to think about moving out, and starting off on my own. That in itself is exciting(and a little scary), but I'm kinda bummed about not getting to do as much with the car.

Have the motor down to the heads. I just got the timing cover off last night, and am going to pull the chains and hopefully the heads tonight. Wanted to post the pics but the app keeps crashing.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding the camshaft immobilizers from any parts stores or Ford. Is it OK to just mark them and pull them off?

That's awesome Peter!
