I think you'd have more luck starting your own thread.

Just bought an 04 Cobra Gauge cluster. I am wondering whether the gauge gets the odometer reading from the computer, or if it has a bit of onboard memory to keep its own reading. I also picked up an 01+ center console so I can ditch the gimpy 98-00 one (two cupholders right behind the shifter[read: in the way]) I'm just wondering how the harness lines up for the cig lighter, and if the wires for the fog light switch will reach where they attach on the new console.

idk about the console questions, but I'd imagine the cluster keeps it's own mileage, hopefully not though.

you'll also have to worry about the gauges reading properly, i.e the RPM's and MPH. Plus your boost gauge.

I would assume that the gauges run off of the same sensors, and therefore shouldn't cause trouble. I'll just redline before the "redline" on the gauge. I have to admit, though, that I did not take into account the boost gauge.

01 Cobra IRS.

It needs springs and shocks, then it's ready to bolt in. I'm really thinking about doing at least some of the bushings right now, but at this point, that is looking like a lot of money to me...

Buying exhaust, springs, shocks, and hopefully some MM subframe bushings before it goes in. I'm thinking stock Cobra exhaust is fine. Springs I want H&R Race to match the front rates. Shocks I am looking for 03-04 Bils. Hopefully then it will feel pretty well put together.

I've got the H&R race springs on my car, love them, especially in the twisties. It's a bit of a rough ride at times, but I'm young!

for as long as I've had the car 20k miles now, it's been great.

here's a pic

it'll look better once I get a set of spacers for the rear weels
