I'm also interested in people's opinions on spark plugs. Someone recommended E3 spark plugs- any good? What's the best?

Think I might check this out, unless someone else wants to chime in. I've had my car for almost a year now. 72K miles. Don't know last time spark plugs were replaced but I'm having a strange ideling problem. How often should they be replaced? Suppose it could never hurt right?

I run the ngk iridium ix in mine and it runs smoother and quicker start up. Ford does say to change the originals at 60k. That is where I would start for a rough idle

Alright. Sounds like it could be a simple solution to the problem. A colleague recommended E3 spark plugs, but online reviews are very poor. How much these plugs cost and are they easy to install?

I think they are about $10 or so each. I changed mine at home in my garage no problem

I used E3 plugs in my 02 V6. I kept them in for about 1000 miles and pulled them back out. It ran smooth, and ideled fine, but if there was any load on the engine, it would miss and jerk like crazy instead of bogging down. Drove me nuts or weeks. Finally I pulled them and put the Bosch +4 back in and the problem was gone. Never again on the E3!!!
