eh, alright. the body still needswork, but ive done pretty much all i can do in my driveway. the issue now is that it wont start and i don't know why. i think its fuel pump related but i'm not sure. i'll be asking the mechanics who are working on the II about it when i go to pick it up

Most likely you probably fried the fuel pump huh. Is Your tranny kind of noisy like shifting wise 1st an 2nd an the occasional clunk when putting it into first to leave a stoplight?

he triax is a fantastic thing. Shifts are way shorter and much more firm. I don't have quite as short a shift because i put a big ol Hurst Thandle on mine, but with the stock handle its an extreme difference. even with the Thandle, its better than stock. I highly recommend it. one of the best bang for your buck mods

Plus 1...ditto on the t handle too. I have a button to purge nitrous on mine too. And from what I hear the mgw is also great. My tri-ax is awesome tho. I adjusted the bolts to just engage without popping out.

One more question before I go to sleep. If I were to install a catless h-pipe with my stock bullitt mufflers would that be as loud as straight pipes with a throatier sound or about the same or quieter?

Another thing is are the pypes or Bbk or/h basically my stock h-pipe with no cats an shiny? It has to be doesn't it if it bolts right up? I recently had a kid an don't like to cut corners but right now its kinda hard. An if I could spend no money by cutting my cats out shining up the stock h-pipe an putting back on my bullitt mufflers that'd be nice. My o2 sensors are already bad so ill have to get mil Eliminators but that's not a problem. Any help is appreciated

My 99 GT had an offroad x-pipe with stock catback, sounded good.

Very loud racey(raspy) sound, think of a quiet version of a nascar. I liked it.

Different then everyone else out there.

Thanks for the answer Knight. You think it will be louder than the current straight pipes. And an h-pipe would make it more throaty right. Oh an the stock bullitt mufflers are a bit more free flowing than a stock gt muffler

i always hesitate to trust sound clips. You really need to hear a setup in person I think. I love the SLP Loudmouth clips I've heard, but I know they'd be waaaay too loud!

X-pipes are raspy and the h pipe is a more deeper sound. From what i have experienced.

I'm going for a deep chest pounding rumble. Put some Detroit rockers in with possibly pypes headers. (I've heard nothing but bad about Bbk...power loss backfire etc). Think 59 fairlane with 390 an RV cams package. Something I can go outside an start up when my neighbors kid has his infinite on quiet him down a notch. Let him know what cool really is. He's doing it right now actually
