Maybe if it was a neon mesh, it'd be better since it'd be amazing at night (although probably illegal anywhere). I'm not a huge fan of grill deletes either, haha. Don't shoot me.

Yes I am signed up on imboc but I'm on here way more. Update. Murdered out the bullitt. In a nice way tho. Not tacky. Got rid of the red Hood vent vhtd the tails an sidemarkers an gave the chrome horse on my Mach 1 delete kit a light shade of vht..turned out niiice. A black chrome sort of look. Liquid mercury I believe its called. Pics soon when I Polish an clearcoat. Hopefully will be dropping it soon. Maybe inch inch an a half or so. Keep Stock wheels but get them powder coated to the same "liquid mercury " almost black but keep the chrome lip ie just paint the centers.

Tax return time. Maybe a temporary eBay Turbo? Who knows I kinda like the idea if a bullitt with an original 390 in it but those aren't so good for going fast. Any feedback on stroker kits??

for exhaust just choose whichever one you think sounds best. check youtube for sounds. full bolt ons and cams should be good for quite a bit

I'm probably going with the Bbk xpipe for sure. It will bolt right up to stock manifold? I currently have straight pipes so I will need some mufflers. That cam looks nice too. I'm thinking about doing my own intake. Part store tubing paint clear etc make it my own.

UPDATE
I fixed the bolt that broke off to hold down my coil pack. Had to take fuel rail off grind smooth center punch and easy out. Luckily the threads were fine.

On the exhaust note personally i would go with an H pipe. The sound is much deeper and throatier compared to the raspy sound from an x pipe. Plus these engines love low end power so the extra tourqe helps (:

you could make one from scratch, but i've got no experience there. generally the car will run better with an already existing unit from the aftermarket. I've seen a lot of homebrew CAIs that can cause a car to run worse.

the JLT piece is nice for the money and you can get it painted to match the car from JLT lol. in any case, i noticed a pretty noticable gain in power when i installed mine too, so its not just for show. over on IMBOC it seems to be the one people swear by.

as for x and h, i just kinda posted that one for a price figure and a rough idea. everyone should pick out their own exhaust to suit what they like.

I love the sound of an X. Much more exotic than the sound an H pushes out, and I think that sounds really good. It's up to you, though, so whatever you want.

I want a deep classic muscle car sound. I love the way a Mustang shrieks but I want mine to roar. I like the looks of that jlt. Ill probably go with the h-pipe with maybe some high flow cats an see What it sounds like with the straights. Or would no cats be cheaper? With maybe some super 40 series. Or are the 44s louder?

non catted is usually cheaper, but it wont pass emissions if thats still in issue for you. idk when other states stop testing or anything.

cats usually keep the sound from getting to crappy in quality though. sift through the millions of youtube exhaust vids out there and see what you like
