What's a core charge? I got mine from webelectric for $139. I know the splice in ones are cheaper, but I'd rather pay more for the ease of the plug in ones.

Some places you send in your stockers afterward to get a partial refund. That way you save and they get to remanufacture from your stock outlets and such.

core charge is where they tack on an extra charge, which is refunded with you returning the harness for the lights that you currently have...like when buying a battery...

...maybe they only charge for a core on the 05-09 kits?

Oh, you can send them your stock harness, and they'll give you $30 back. Don't know if I want to do it though.

depends...on whether you want $30 or not...I'd just keep it.

I tried to make a video of it, but it didn't turn out very well. I think I'll try again tomorrow in the daylight.

I'd do it, but we're at opposite ends of the country.

I think I eventually want to get this amp with this sub. They Mach 460 is so lacking of deep bass, that I don't know if I can stand it any longer. I already have the box, and I can get the amp and sub for ~ $200 on ebay. Plus I'd also probably take the old wiring out of the notch when I get the new stuff for that, so I don't need to worry about forking out cash for that. Then later on down the road, I can replace the HU and speakers. Those are fine for me for now though.

that's cool. Sound system isn't that important to me, but to each his own...
