I was thinking about going with grey racing stripes, but if I do anything now, it will be to paint my hood flat black.

lol There is always hope! My girlfriend hated cars when we first started dating. A year and and a lot of work later, she can now tell a any kind of mustang apart and she can instal a cold air intake!

 

Please teach me your training method oh masterful one.

 

Its easy...

Step one, Find out what she likes leard about it. My girlfriend fr instance is really big into plays and musicals. So I started watching plays and musicals, and started careing about what she likes.

Step two, spend a lot of money on her, and buy her things.

Step 3, Now is the fun part... While you are out, you may see an 03 Cobra. Your response should be "Hey honey, you see that car?" She will say, "Its just like yours isnt it?" You will say "kinda... Its an upscale version of mine called a cobra." Her response,"oh thats neat. What is different?" Then you may get into the details, while kepping in mind not to get into details of the motor or how fast it is. Just talk about physical apperences, and the interior.

Showing her how to instal a cold air intake was even easier. Order it without her knowing. While awaiting delivery, buy her things and repeat step one above. Then when it comes in, say "hey, do you wanna help me make my car get better gas mileage?"

Quick summary, as long as you treat her as if she is a queen, she will do anything.

 

The mach1 deletes are an awesome addition to any "edge" mustang!

 

I've also seen a cool idea some have done with the factory grille...They simply painted the 'coral' trim around the pony black, this made the pony stand out on it's own more and still looked nice with the factory 'honeycomb'. I think I'll be doing this when weather warms up.

 

Going to put mine back on the road me thinks. Its almost 60 outside! Going to make short video now I think.

Pictures were deleted off my camera which I had taken during the shifter, throttle body and headlight install.

Will disassemble a little to show basic ideas on install.
