I'm replacing rod bearings and i find my drive shaft doing this. Now is this weak springs or something else?

That's beyond bizzare....I'll be curious to hear what others think because I have no clue. What's weird is...you presumably never heard anything while driving, yet there is clearly metal on metal going on there.

True. But my guess is That it happens on either 1) a really bad bump. Or 2) when I launch the car at the strip.

But I never hear anything. Could be the loud exhaust though....

The only thing that makes sense is springs. I mean, the driveshaft is not what is moving....not possible in my mind because its held in place on both ends. The BODY is the more likely culprit. How many miles are on the car...or on the springs at least.
