Possibly a head gasket? The v6 mustangs are prone to head gasket failure. I would check that and see if there's coolant in the oil. I'm not exactly sure on this but possibly a cracked intake?

Does not appear coolant in oil, no power loss, plugs look good, just seeing little drops of oil floating in expansion tank after 130 miles a week, ??

No, thats whats strange, its not much oil, can stick rag in and soak it up definitely smells of eng oil, maybe teaspoon week (140-150 mi), coolant nice green, changed last year when replaced upper and lower radiator hoses. Cars got bout 200k miles, been great car, only other big issue was the alarm went wacky.

The 96-97 V6s had head gasket issues, but that was fixed on the 98. Definitely check the intake.
