Lights Help

Just picked up an 02 GT Convertible, first problem is the headlights are staying on when driving even when the **** is pushed in the off position, they go out when the ignition is turned off, second problem is the two lights on the interior mirror are staying on, even when the ignition is off, any ideas? Thanks a lot

I wpuld try reset your battery first and she what happens. Then start looking at the fuses. Otherwise its a wiring problem which would suck.

Canadian car? It has DRLs. Day-time running lights.

For the mirror lights, my guess is a bad door ajar sensor, most likely drivers side. For years I had that problem with my 94. Never had the battery fail though. The lights made my mirror so hot it would burn me, and at one point cracked! It rarely happened though, so I lived with it. But one day I was driving and I started hearing the door chime, only my door was closed. Since that's obviously annoying I replaced the sensor. Since then I haven't had the mirror light issue.
