Jeremy Clarkson on the SN-95
After a lot of digging I found this video from Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld made in the mid-90's featuring Jeremy Clarkson visiting Detroit. Overall the video was quite interesting.
The video can be found here:
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEGoJIRwxEA&feature=fvw
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZkXv...eature=related
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfBTd...eature=related
If you just want to skip to the part of the Mustang: The Sn-95 is in part 3. There is also a brief history of Mustangs in part 1.
In short Clarkson found the SN-95 Mustang to be "All mouth and no trousers" claiming that it "makes a lot of noise and doesn't actually do anything"
What do you think of this video and Clarkson's view of the Mustang? Personally I think that he was a lot more forgiving than he would be now.

you've also got to remember the lack of performance cars back then. The car explosion came during the early 00's.
those year mustangs weren't all that great anyway, and having a vert wasnt helping him much

In reality, I would have to agree with him. Its not secret that the early SN-95 were not very fast. Dont get me wrong, I love me 95 GT but my 99V6 is not much slower. But I still love em!

did he just say '7 liter V8 under the hood of this lincoln'? im sure thats a detuned Cobra engine. anyways, it felt good watching that. makes me miss the 90s even more. id really like to go back and see what things were like in the 60s and 70s though.
