I have finally done it. After 2 months of waiting and debating I have finally gone ahead and ordered some stingers for my stang. Any advice on the install would be appreciated. I have read that you have to cut the existing exhaust to remove it, is this true or does it just make it easier? Hoping to save and posssibly graft on to my ZX2 for a laugh. When it arrives I will make sound clips before and after and install pictures for anyone in the situation I have been in.
If you considering stingers I hope my posts will help.

I'm hoping not. Will be looking for mid pipe later on, any ideas welcomed. Willing to go o/r and change out for emission test.

The problem with taking out the stock exhaust is that it is welded together in places. you could cut right along the weld bead to minimize the damage, but i think fitting the exhaust to your ZX2 would take more fabrication than it's worth.
have fun with the new exhaust. i wanted borlas, but the price was too steep for me. also, if/when you put the mid-pipe on, you may want to get the MIL-eliminators so your 'check engine' light doesnt stay on forever.

Well the stingers should be here today. So excited, unfortunetly I have to finish plastering a hallway after which I have to go to work so unless my new toy arrives very soon its not going to be on until possibly friday. Should I be excited? Would love to hear from someone who changed to stingers from stock themselves and what kind of difference it made. Not heard in person or even a good sound clip, just heard good things and knew good quality.

HURRY UP!!!!

OK. They came about an hour ago as I was washing the car. Too late to put them on today. Very impressed with quality and speed of shipping. I will write up install when its done.

Aha. You have the same idea I have. Heard a few sound clips and fell instantly in love with the combo. Oh sweet music. Any chance you can post sound clip when installed the H?

Remember....I'm the one who swayed you towards Borla over SLP.

Always thought this was the best Borla MRT-H video. Might have posted it before.

Ok Ok, you were right. Yes I saw that video and it convinced me to go with MRT-H. Finally fitted my stingers and boy do they roar. Very happy indeed. Will write review when I get a chance. Wish I had bought H at the same time, had to cut the bolts off during install. Good idea to wait and install at same time.
