Bought the Mach 1 Chin Spoiler finaly from Ford(what a rediculous price!!!) but it came with no hardware that I saw. What type of screws or bolts do I need to mount it? Is there anything special I need to know about installing it? Thanks in advance.

to install, take and use some packing tape to hold it in place. Drill your holes and then use the plastic christmas tree gromets to hold it in place. That way if you hit something, they will pull out and not rip up your bumper.

Well if you bought through like mustangtuning.com or an outside vender other then Ford, you could buy them for about $75 or something. Bought mine late after they discontinued it and now sell it strictly through Ford. I bought mine for $95....a piece of plastic that cost them all of $5 to make.

Nice to have and looks great but totally way overpriced.

Small update. Was suppose to get it all done Monday during lunch but tires were not put onto wheels by lunch and the shop was gonna balance them themselves. They dont have a machine to intall the tires on wheels because of how the wheel is. It is a reverse wheel setup, meaning the wheel goes on from the inside if that makes any since.

Then later on that day, they sent me an email telling me one of the wheels was badly bent. They had to order a new one, no cost to me of course. Should get them on with the Chin Spolier tomorrow (Wednesday). I told them I cant contain myself much longer and very geedy to see how it all turns out.

Will post some picks to let you all see her new look. Will be doing the Grill Delete kit come the first of the year.

Strange thing though about the wheels. I didnt go with true stagger set up with Deep Dish in back and regular up front cause I wanted the 30k miles out of the tires. So I had them order regulare 18x9 all the way around but when I looked at them this past weekend....they are pretty much Deep Dish. They have about a 2 to 2 1/2 inch lip anyways. Got the look I wanted plus the Tire Mileage and at a cheaper cost!

Finally got them put on and the Chin Spoiler. Took alot of pictures and they turned out pretty nice. I hope you like the look. It looks best at night The lip of th tire is the width of that dollar bill. Car is 4 years old and still looking pretty good.

Going to also move this thread over to the Intro section.

Let me know what you think.

WOOOOOOWEEEEE!

Now THAT Is a Mustang! I am SOOOO jealous

SPECTACULAR rims. How much were they each?
...and doesn't the chin spoiler add so much?

Now.. just lower it 1.5 inches and you're done!

Wheels were about $155 not including tax. All four with tax was about $720 or so. Chin Spoiler really makes the front bumper look alot better. I am going to have to look into a new spring package. I have it lowered about 1.5 inches already with the Eibach Lowering springs but the car is still sitting just a tad to high. But you are right, get that baby lowered at least another inch and it would look so much better. Car looks great at night while moving from what I have been told.

Purchase of Tires, Wheels, Chin Spoiler and Installation on all, it came out to be about $1900 including tax. A very happy investment.

And Thanks!

Thanks and yep. Work in the Clark Building wich is right next to where the South Trust building use to be till Wachovia(sp) took over. We may have since I drive out for lunch here and there. Walking to eat is alright but why walk when we can drive our MUSTANGS!

Wow, Gorgeous car Jason. Never realized you were in Bham until the pics. Keep an eye out in the southeast section of the board, we will start having more stuff come up in the area.
