So the driver's side window suddenly decided to stop working and it seemed a little crooked.
I went to the local parts store and got a new regulator and motor. After all the headache getting the old one out and the new one in, it still doesn't work right and moves crooked. It keeps coming out of the vertical tracks. Ugh!

I've replaced many of these in other cars and this is by far the most difficult experience I've had with replacing a power window motor and regulator. It usually takes me about 30 minutes or so.

 

Never heard of it being crooked, but usually when the driver's side window stops working you can hit the door really hard right behind the bottom speaker and it should start working again.

 

It's like it gets bound or something or it goes higher in the back or the front and it comes out of the tracks. Which makes it either stick way up in the back or it tries to exit the track by the mirror out ward or inward. I don't understand how it could suddenly be this way.

 

Having the same prob out of my 00 v6 one of the little wheels that rolls in the track came off so it doesn't roll up correctly
