Personally I like Borla or Bassanni, I think most other brands are too loud. What I like about Borla and Basssni is that they don't have a droning sound at highway speeds yet they sound great when you get on it.

I have a Borla exhaust on my GT and surprisingly it is slightly louder than my 03 Cobra with Bassani. They both have a unique sound that doesn't sound like the everyday Mustang but still has a great sound.

The Bassans are expensive, but well worth it.

The SLP LM's will make you deaf.

I hate to correct you but bassani will drone your brains out. To the point of ridiculous. Slp might not be bad. Just search cobra exhaust on YouTube. Lots of good vids.

My Cobra has Bassani exhaust and I don't have that issue at all. SLP is by far the loudest exhaust I have heard. In my personal experience my Bassani exhaust has less drone than the Borla or flowmaster exhausts I have had in previous vehicles.

Headers and xpipe also? Maybe the full Bassani system might be worse.

I kinda like that. Are the magnaflow mufflers a straight through design or chambered?

Personally, Id go mac x-pipe and whatever muffler you decide. Theres plenty of videos so find the sound you like and run with it.

An h-pipe is also a great option, deeper tone, not as raspy but doesnt give the same power the x-pipe does. Just some food for thought.

Cutouts, unless your pushing alot of power and running at the track alot, are pointless. IMO the money can be much better spent elsewhere.

IMO bassanni o/r x pipe with borla stingers is the most orgasmic combo ive heard. A mac prichamber mid pipe sounds pretty darn sexy too!

They are chambered.

This is what I have. http://www.americanmuscle.com/ma.html
The vid in this link sounds more like my exhaust than my vids, they used a little better camera than me.

I'll try and get a video of my car tomorrow. I have a BBK O/R H-pipe and Bassani catback on my Cobra. Definitely a different tone, I got my wife to drive my car once on a cruise while I rode behind in my buddy's car and my Cobra sounded awesome to me!

Check out Stainless Works catback or full header back system, very nice low rumble and pretty cool at WOT.
