Couple more problems, any suggestions?
First problem is that when i get up to 70 mph my car sometimes starts to shake and vibrate. Would this be caused by a problem with the front end or something with the engine?
Second problem, I had a noise when i accelerated between 30 and 35 mph, and 1000 to 1500 rpm, and it was pre-ignition, and the dealership changed the air filter and the fuel filter and said it would do it a little bit sometimes, but it was alright. But now, over a month later, it does it at various ranges way worse than before, so my question is, is this normal?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey, thanks for the replies guys, it's a big help. The engine noise is a pinging, as described by the service guy. It happens at various ranges now. The only other unusual thing that I've had happen since it was at the dealership is I've experienced a lot of condensation and water dripping out of the hole on the V6 muffler and exhaust. The car has never had that much come out before, I would definately have noticed it.
I don't know if anybody has read or remembers any other posts I've made, but I have had a lot of trouble with the front end of my car. T-rods have been replaced twice, the new front brakes they put on fell apart and now whenever I have pressure on the brakes and turn the wheel or roll to a stop a cluster of pops come from what sounds like the brakes. I had the dealership check that out but they said that they didn't hear it, so I'm kind of in a jam. I have a thumping sound while the wheels rotate that has progressed worse over the past couple of months. I got new tires last spring. My father suggested either something with the tires, or wheel bearings, or I figured possibly another problem with the t-rods.

Thumping sounds like the tires are the problem, did you get balancing and alignment when they were fitted? Have you rotated your tires? My Escort was thumping a couple of months ago and I found out that they had replaced one of the tires with the wrong type. I only found this out when I rotated and the oddd tire came to the front.
Pinging sounds like a detonation problem, are you running a custom tune? Highly recomend a reflash to try to correct this just in case.

As far as I know the tires were balanced and aligned when put on, I can't remember if they got rotated though. One of the tires, although it is the same exact tires as the others (or is supposed to be) had been put on a year earlier after getting a flat. So I guess I'm just going to have to wait till I can make it back to the dealership and get it all checked out.
As far as the pinging goes, I'm not sure what the difference between pre-ignition and detonation is, I just know the service guy said that it was pre-ignition. After they changed the filters he just asked me if I used cheap gas, which I don't. I use regular and he said there's no reason to put anything else besides regular in it. I put super in every once in awhile. I don't have a custom tune or anything, the whole car is stock.
THanks for the help.

The pinging you're getting....it's everyday or an off and on kind of thing? I do know of someone that had a problem like this and they replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and it cured the problem...apparently the engine wasn't getting enough gas and was running lean...

The fun just never ends, last night I went to get in my car and I pressed the unlock button on the key thing and the trunk opened. At first I just shrugged it off as that I probably just accidentally hit the trunk button, but then this morning I go to get in the car and the trunk opens again. Then when I'm leaving school, samething and all afternoon. So now something with that is screwed up. Now that's going to get added onto the list of things for the dealership to check out. This car is turning out to be way more than I bargained for.

It doesn't seem to happen early in the morning, or later at night. So I guess it doesn't happen when it is wet or significantly cold out. Or, it is just really quiet and I don't notice it.

If you haven't replaced your fuel filter recently, you might want to think about it. You could at least rule it out at that point and it's only something like a $7.00 part that you could potentially change yourself. If the filter is getting clogged, but not all the way, you could see something like this happen.

The dealership changed the fuel filter the first time I had it in for the pinging, and they said it would do it a little bit but it was fine. It was fine for about a month and then got worse than it was before they changed it.

$5 fix?
Either way the dealership should be hunting the problem down.

What octane do you run? If running 91 or 93 try a step down to the 89. Also flush and change engine coolant and check hoses.

No luck with anything yet, haven't had time nor the money to head to the dealership yet, I'm just going to have to live with it until the semester ends and I have some time and extra money. I just use regular and alternate with super every now and then. I only get gas from one gas station in town, Mobil. I got a new engine put in about a year ago due to a factory defect, and the pinging was present before that, so I have my doubts that it is an engine problem. But then again, I don't know very much when it comes to cars. Very soon though I need to get this fixed, between the pinging and the wheels my car sounds pretty aweful. Thanks for the suggestions, it's a big help. I'm just really dreading having to go through the ordeal at the dealership in having them actually find what's wrong.
