This could be a problem..

Alright, i had recently installed lowering springs on my 2000 gt, and after ahwhile of driving i was noticing alot of squeaking and clunking.. i went and double checked everything, the control arms cleared the exhuast.. but then i saw it.... some how the driverside bolt that connects the shock to the axle had lost its nut.. so only the bolt was there.. my question is... what size bolt and nut would i need? Should i just go to the hardware store and buy one? I checked online and the only thing i found was the bolt size(?) 12mm x 1.75 x 70mm, would it be okay to get that and a nut that fit it?

Take the same nut off of the opposite side and match it up

the bolt holding the driverside shock in place was missing its nut, so it wiggled around a bit.

That's how mine is. The nut won't stay tight on the driverside uca. I've tightened it twice, but now I just don't care since I have the torque arm and panhard bar going in within the newt 2 weeks.

Its already a nylock nut that apparently doesn't work very well

Both the uca's are coming off soon enough anyways though.
