I will not be installing myself. Seriously considering headers as well. When I take my car in for inspection they will be putting it on as well as an alignment from the lowering springs.
Should I get headers installed at the same time and if so then which?

 

I would do headers at the same time. It would make it a lot easier. Im not sure which kind though. Congrats on the birthday present!

 

H pipe should come in tommorow. Think I will let someone else install. Gonna hold off on headers for the moment as unsure which ones to get. Future is not really planned out as far as mods are concerned so will stick with stock headers for a while until I know where I want to go with the car.

 

If you stick with stock but are gonna change at a later date make sure that your installer does not weld them. Ive heard that it is a big pain when the time comes to change.

 

I might even do it myself. My friend knows where I could get Murray up on a ramp. If so I will install myself. I dont want to be crawling under the car and having the same problems I had with my catback (i am a big guy) so if I find a ramp I will be happy.

Birthday isnt until the 28th but Murray needs inspecting within next week or so and I dont want to install the H myself, plus my wheels will need aligning after the springs are installed so I figured they can do it all in one trip. I have been told no more parts now. Well at least I had a good run and got most of what I wanted done.

 

What she doesnt know wont hurt her!

 

She has ways of finding out.

1. She can see my bank details
2. She knows my credit card details
3. Packages have to arrive somewhere
4. My signature kinda gives it away
5. I get too excited over new parts
6. I think she secretly likes the car despite telling me she hates it
7. Internet history
8. She knows what the car looks like, exterior mods a no no

I will just have to be a good boy and hope she lets me have something else.

 

We've already talked about this but this is why I have a separate bank account and credit card that the wife doesn't monitor. She knows about them but doesn't care about them as long as I promise not to carry a balance on the card which I don't.

I also have her log into our computer with a separate account that doesn't have permissions to any of the data on my account. This is more for **** protection but it helps with hiding purchases as well.

I'm not really hiding anything from her it's more for keeping my expenditures from dipping into our monthly finances.

I don't even have any **** accounts, I just lock her out of my system account so she can't see where I'm going on the internet. I don't think she cares anymore but it's better to be safe then sorry.
