99-04 Power Locks

I I recently purchased some aftermarket door pins and bezels and noticed that these pins stick out much more when the doors are unlocked. Came to realize that I commonly leave the doors unlocked when I'm driving. I had a 2003 Chevy (automatic) prior to my stang, and the doors would automatically lock when I put the car in gear or went over XX MPH... Are the SN95 Mustangs capable of or supposed to do this? Not the worst idea in the world...

They don't do it, well at least the 94-98, I'd assume they work the same way.

Interesting. Thought this was a pretty common feature but maybe not so much for the year. SO I can pull the door handle and fly out at 100mph? Better wear my seatbelt...

Haha yeah.. Make sure you don't do that.

I've actually made it a habit that I don't even feel right sitting in my car unless I'm buckled in

I too have aftermarket lock pins or whatever they are called and they stick up a little to much so I keep it locked.

And I just realized, I'm sure the doors will open when you pull the handle at 100 mph anyways.

I'll test this idea today at 45 or so.
