1996 mustang brakes

Hi, I have a 96 base model mustang and I was wondering what I would have to do in order to upgrade the brakes to cobra brakes?

If you go on a mustang parts website you can buy a kit that comes with everything you need. It should be a direct swap you may need bigger wheels to fit the cobra front rotors though

Cobra calipers and brackets, and 13 inch rotors. Let me find you a good set hold on..

And it will be a TREMENDOUS upgrade over stock.

If I bought the calipers and rotors would they bolt onto the existing mounting brackets for the calipers or do I have to have diffrent mounts?

Need the brackets too. And while you're at it, get some stainless lines!

Do it! It is the identical kit I got for mine, with the 2 piece rotors.

Op. Most of the times the bracket will come with caliper. Especially if they're saling them as a kit. Bit you can find them on eBay.

Check out mpsautosalvage.com or eBay or worst case, Ford directly from your parts counter.
