Even with the antenna underneath the package tray trim, reception is extremely good, no problems except the two or three dead spots in my area, which were a problem with my Focus with the antenna on the roof of the car.

 

I have 20% tint on my rear window and have no reception problems with the antenna on the rear package tray. I started with it wired through the access into the trunk, out the opening, and magnet-stuck to the trunk lid next to the back window, but I removed it after it scratched my trunk lid

I use a SkyFi. I have the power plug that also is a wireless FM transmitter that I plug into the power point in the console. It works ok. This way, I can hide everything in the console when I park.

 

By the way, anyone have an easy way to remove scratches from a trunk lid?
