Usually, I just lurk on the forums but now I have a few questions. I'm hoping someone can provide some insight.

There has been a lot of discussion in the past concerning the aux line and how to add it to the 2005 and 2006 cars. I believe the part of the wiring harness within the center console / arm rest area is part of the dash wiring harness. I know the dash wiring harness is different when the aux line was added. But, how different is it? Is it possible to replace this harness in a 2006 with one from a 2008 or 2009 vehicle? If it was replaced, would there be any issues? Or, would you just be able to gain the functionality added by that section of harness?
