Will a 2011 GT500 gauge cluster fit an 05 GT?? Help!! :(

I have a 2005 GT and my gauge cluster is going out. My tach is pretty sensitive and mainly wants to sit under 1 when idling which obviously is not right. I did some research and some people said it would fit and won't fit. Someone please help!

I wouldn't think it'll fit, and I've never seen someone that has done that swap. I'd just go for an 07-09 GT500. Any special reason why you want the 2011?

Off the top of my head I'd check Ebay, Tousley Ford, and junk yards. Once you get one, i believe you'll also need a dealership to program it.

I got mine at Tousley Ford, there's a core charge they refund after you send the old cluster back. Since yours is an 05 like mine, you'll get the warning about the TPMS since our years don't have them. I took it to the dealer and had them load the old cluster info into the new one, they charged me an hour labor. Since then I realized that I could have added the TPMS instead, you might want to consider that.

I just saw in another thread that you can't add the TPMS sensors to a pre 07, so just ignore that part.

Physically, the 2010 and up clusters won't fit as the top of the new clusters use tabs while the old ones use screws to be secured to the dash.
