i have two fosgate p3 subs 12". i custum made the box it fit on the hump and extends about 4inches past the hump. that leaves me with about 2 feet deep worth trunk space. basicely the subs are in the unusable portion of the trunk

I do not have my car yet, but I saw that hump in the trunk and it had me worried that a pre-made box might not sit correctly. If you have any pics of your install I would like to see them.

Lol, Eric....That's why they have a backseat right?
But it would be nice if I opened the trunk and the subs weren't taking up too much room...

I've got 2 Kicker Solo-Baric L7 12's ready to go into the trunk. I put in one of my old Solo-Baric (the round ones), bridged my amp, and realized quickly that was plenty for me. I don't want the extra weight for the small gain in db I'll get. So, I'll be putting one L7 12 with my amp in the trunk - across the back seat, facing into the trunk, and will post a pic when I'm done. Hopefully this weekend.

little over 400 rms going to each. they hit very hard. Too much for me, also hit the low end deep. I am thinking of swaping in a set of 10 subs and facing them toward the cabin and plexying the back for show. They rattle the trunk like crazy. That is why i have 24 square feet of dynamat waiting to be put in.
Don't quote me until i measure. but the spec are outside diamesions 34.5 wide. 15.75 tall on the FRONT. 11 tall in REAR. and 14 deep.
