Use factory Sirius Antenna w/ Aftermarker?

Does anyone know if the factory antenna for the sirius radio work with an aftermarket system? I realize I'll need a sirius receiver, I'm just refering to the antenna (little bubble on the trunk hood)

I'm looking to get an AVIC-D3, and I'm hoping I don't need to put another ugly satellite antenna on the car somewhere.

Thanks!

Yes, I have a AVIC-D3 and the SIR-PNR3 in trunk that uses the factory ant. Just have to remove the yellow plastic locking cover on connector (easy).

did you check behind the subwoofer in the trunk?(pull back carpet after disconnecting) thats where its located on cars with Shaker 500's. I can't think they came out with 2 locations.
