I ordered the round ones with blue, since I have a blue car on order.
Finally saw some photos of the interior at night with the lights on and I guess most everything is green.
Was rethiking about ordering green, and even going with the slimline ones looking more like the stock ones. Anyone have photos with these or the steeda ***** at night with the dash lights all lit up?

I don't have pictures of them at night, just during the day. But I have the exact ones you ordered. They look really nice but light up really poorly at night. I've had to memorize where everything is and how many clicks to the left/right it is so I can keep my eyes on the road. I wish there was some way I could fix them and take out whatever they have in the little light 'window'. Otherwise, I'm happy with them.

I have the same ones as Fin1, and the red DOES NOT LIGHT UP AT ALL AT NIGHT........I might take them out cause it really bothers me at night. I cant see what setting I have it on...very frustrating. If anyone know hows to "fix" with problem with a home "remedy", I will try it.

Yes they don't light up at night given the weak light source.

After seeing your photo of the round ones with more of the dash than UPR shows I do like the way they fit in with the rest of the dash.

I could have sworn that someone had drilled through the backs of the *****. Not all the way through, but just enough to lose some of the "material". I could be wrong though.

That was me - it did not work I drilled out abotu 90% of the insert - and no light shown thru. However, I used the red color. Now, I have read a few others that have purchased newer ***** from UPR since me that have shown a small amount of light. I had planned on ordering a new set. If I do, I will update you.

I think I'll wait until MGW comes out with theirs. I love the quality of the items I bought from them, and maybe by the time they come out they will have solved the lighting problem.

Well, finally got my *****, so if anyone is wondering the same as mine, you can see very little, with a photo you can see none at all. I think if they put a clear insert and just let the natural green light shine through it might work best.
Here's a few photos of mine

My modification was to cut the length of the lens down. The lens is a plastic plug that is 7/16" long - that takes a lot of light to overcome!
I took each **** and drove out the plastic lens plug - I put a soft towel on a vise with the jaws open about 3/8", placed the **** face down on the towel so that the lens plug lines up over the open area of the vise, then used a punch inserted into the lens hole and a hammer to drive out the plug.
Next I placed the plug on it's side on another soft folded cloth on the workbench and used a untility knife to score it all the way around about 1/4" back of the top/front of the plug. Rotate the plug, continuing to score the plug until the knife actually cuts through the plug. A fresh sharp blade helps!
To finish, clean up the cut the back edge of the now very short lens plug with light sandpaper and carefully place the lens plug back into the hole in the ****. It won't slip right in so you must place the **** right side up on the cloth on the vise with the second cloth over the top of the **** and carefully hammer the shortened lens plug back into the ****. The lens plug face is slightly curved to match the bevel of the **** so be sure you get it aligned correctly before you begin to hammer.
It took about 30 minutes to study and experiment with the first **** and less than that to complete the other two. As I mentioned above this technique worked pretty well - enough to be useable but not quite to the level I would like. At some future point I may grind out side of the lens plug column on the back of the ***** inward toward the center to allow more indirect light to flow to the lens plug - but that will be a future project.
