I pulled this cupholder trim off a smashed Lincoln Ls. Looked like it would fit but not quite .. I had to cut it to fit .. here it is just laying in the cupholder area ..
I wish someone would make it for the 'Stang ... (I'd like a chrome shifter bezel as well ) ..

Something like that satin finish like the other stuff in the car might look nice. We just have to have patience, stuff will be out soon!

Thanks for sharing your neat idea John! Are you going to leave it in or was that just for pic's?

i think mgw is making something for this.

I need to put something to divide the two cupholders. I put junk in the front one that flies into the back cupholder. I will probably get some black foam to put in there.

John, looks great, I'd say give it a few month and UPR will come out with something like that (cup holder), including the shift bezel.......

have you had the bezel off yet?If so how is it held down? I dont see any screws in that pic. I dont have my car yet and I know the dealer isnt going to let me rip the one out of the V-6's they got on the lot!LOL get me some more info on how it attaches and the size. If anyone of you use autocad or a similiar prog and can make me a dxf, iges or dwg file with the OD, ID etc I can make up a proto out of aluminum and see what everyone thinks. I am planning on maing up a front license plate bracket so you dont have to drill your bumper too. But no car yet so Im going nuts and would like to start making some goodies. I own a plastics dist. company and we do machining and fab of plastics and aluminum.

The cupholder bezel has tabs that fit in guide holes in the cupholder area on a lincoln LS. I broke the tabs off and just layed it in the area on the Mustang for pics.
