Sub references needed

I'm looking for an amp and a sub that isn't going to be crazy loud to the point where you can only hear the thump and lose sound quality but a sub that just give the music a really nice clear kick. I don't want to have that sub you can hear two blocks away.. If this isn't making sense to anyone I'm sorry but if you do understand feel free to send me a sub request

Amps are also manufactured by these companies. I am very fond of mtx. They make a great amp and sub but you can't go wrong with any of the above choices. I am on my phone so I don't know if I can post links. What kind of music are you into. If your into rock n roll don't get any bigger than a 12 inch sub. 10s are really punchy for that type of music. Hip hop you wanna go bigger so you can hit the really low tones. I had a pair of mtx rfl line 12s and a 1000 watt mtx amp and blew the back window out of my truck. Great stuff

Haha that's crazy I listen to most often tech n9ne who does rock and rap I'll probably just get a ten or twelve powered sub so the amp is already in the box

Then go with a 12. And that a good idea with the self powered option. Plug and play

There is a guy selling an amp and subs in the classifieds here. I looked and it's nice stuff for a reasonable price. Check it out before buying retail. May save you a few bucks
